Sea DB is a large archive of data sheets about animal and vegetal species living in the world's seas. A catalog of marine biodiversity, starting from the area where diversity is greater, Indonesian Seas. But Sea DB catalog is continuously growing and expanding, adding new species and geographic areas, and this is its main feature. 

Sea DB is also a large still photo and video image bank, available for browsing and also for professional use, obviously in the high resolution version that you can ask us.

You can browse our archive in different ways:  
1-     starting from the homepage, expanding the branches of the species tree on the left, or searching what you want to find simply putting the name in the box on the right side.  
2-     expanding the branches of the species tree in the page, more detailed. The thumbnails help you locating the right species, if you do not know the name.  
3-     performing an advanced search, with scientific name, common name, habitat and geographic distribution. For example, you can display all the seahorses living in Indonesia in reef environment.
