Zebra crab

Scientific name : Zebrida adamsii

Small crab with a typical brown and white zebra colour pattern. Smooth carapace, whit deeply incised edge. Spiny legs and claws, the last segment of the walking legs, hook shaped, hangs the crab onto the urchin spines. Carapace lenght 2 cm.

Associated organisms
Living on different urchin species, like Tripneustes gratilla, Astropyga radiata, Asthenosoma varium. Often living in pairs.
