Warty mesh sea star

Scientific name : Nardoa tuberculata

Sea star with 5 conical arms, brown colour with a fine mesh pattern superimposed to a banded pattern. Rounded tubercles along the arms. 15 cm diameter.
Encountered in the back reef and reef front.
Confusion possible with Gomophia egeria, the latter having conical spines instead of rounded tubercles.
