Walea seahorse

Scientific name : Hippocampus sp. 2


Very small sea horse, brown colour, with small darker verrucae. About 1 cm. Compared with Hippocampus sp. 1, this animal has larger verrucae, and no V-shaped back spines. Also the host coral is different. This is a new species, apparently found so far only in Togian Islands, Indonesia.
