Unicorn file fish

Scientific name : Aluterus monoceros

Large file fish, with oval compressed body, irregularly shaped. Marbled grey colour when it approaches the bottom, uniform silvery grey when it swims in open water. 75 cm. The juveniles live in open sea under floating algae. Compared with Aluterus scriptus it has more rounded head, shorter tail and the blue pattern is missing.
