Transparent commensal shrimp
Scientific name : Periclimenes sp. 1
Transparent body, but a longitudinal pink line and fine, scattered, white spots. Living with many different hosts. 1,5 cm.
Similar to many transparent Periclimenes species, but the scattered white spots are distinctive. As the shrimp identification needs examination of microscopic details, we cannot exclude that actually in our photos are more than 1 species.
Associated organisms Association with sea pens, with gorgonians (Dichotella sp.), with hydroids (Aglaophenia cupressina).
