Black velvety body, covered with short, yellow tipped papillae, white edge. 8 cm.
Common along the external reef
Possible confusion with the rare Acanthozoon sp. 1, put this species has a background colour completely black, with no stains, lower papillae and yellow tips.

Associated organisms
We observed this species in association with the social ascidian Oxycorynia fascicularis, maybe its food.


Habitat: Reef external slope

Distribution: Indo-Pacific
