Thecacera picta
Scientific name : Thecacera picta
Small nudibranch, short white body with variously shaped black lines. Red tipped black rhynophores. Other 4 expansions, at the sides of rhynophores (2) and of the gills (other 2) are typical of this genus. In T. picta they are red and white tipped. 1 cm.
Similar to other Thecacera species, many still undescribed. Distinguished by the colour.
Associated organisms Often associated with arborescent bryozoans, its food.
