Scientific name : Polydectus cupulifer


Xanthidae crab, completely covered with a thick beige or yellow fur. It can use other animal (anemones) to cover or carry them in the claws for defense. Carapace lenght 2 cm.
Unique with the thick fur.

Associated organisms
With anemones it uses for covering itself, or carried in the claws for defense.


Habitat: Back reef, Lagoon

Distribution: Indo-Pacific
