Tasselled wobbegong

Scientific name : Eucrossorhinus dasypogon


Max lenght 3 m, common around 1 m. Head very large, entire margin covered with skin flaps resembling a beard. Brown colour, with a reticulated pattern of dots and lines. Very well camouflaged among corals.


Habitat: Reef, Sand

Distribution: Western Pacific
