Striped small cleaner

Scientific name : Lysmatella prima


Traslucent yellow colour with longitudinal red stripes. Yellow legs, white or yellowish antennae. Long straight rostrum, thin claws almost undistinguishable from normal legs. The tail has 2 lateral yellow bands. 2 cm. Generically similar to Lysmata sp. 1, apart from details only visible under a microscope, the colour of legs and antennae is diagnostic.

Associated organisms
It is a fish cleaner.


Habitat: Coastal bay, Lagoon, Sand

Distribution: Indo-West Pacific
