Striped puffer fish
Scientific name : Arothron manilensis
Grey or yellowish with dark longitudinal stripes. Dark edged tail. 31 cm. Juveniles can enter the river mouths. Often it buries itself partially in the sand. Similar to Arothron immaculatus distinguished by the longitudinal lines (missing in the latter).
Associated organisms Common in the seagrass beds.
