Strawberry grouper

Scientific name : Cephalopholis spiloparaea

A rather small grouper (lunghezza massima: 30,0 cm), this fish shows a background reddish-rose color, with many whitish dots on body and fins and some red blotches on the body and snout.
Quite common on Indo-Pacific coral reefs, mostly below 40 m.
