Stalked green ascidian

Scientific name : Oxycorynia fascicularis

Each colony is a spherical cluster of small ascidians, on a fleshy stalk. Total height of the colony: 5-12 cm. Dark green zooids with yellow or grey bands.
For the colour confusion is possible with Sigillina signifera, the latter being transparent green and stalkless.

Associated organisms
Eaten by nudibranches of the genus Nembrotha.
