Spotted eagle ray

Scientific name : Aetobatus narinari


Dark dorsal surface, with small white dots placed all over its body in an almost geometrical fashion; its ventral surface is white and a snout which vaguely resembles a bill.
It can be found in almost every temperate and tropical basin worldwide.
Its "wingspan" can reach a maximum of 3,5 mt. It feeds on cephalopods, fish, crustaceans and mollusks, which breaks using the bony plates in its mouth.
