Singing sea squirt

Scientific name : Clavelina robusta


Colonies are formed by clusters of cylindrical zooids, 1 cm high, originating from a common stalk. Dark colour, typical white or yellow ring around the two siphons. Possible confusion with Clavelina viola, the latter never has a ring around the siphons.


Habitat: Reef, Reef front

Distribution: Western Pacific
