Short snout file fish

Scientific name : Paramonacanthus curtorhynchus

Uncommon file fish, marbled brown colour. The main characters are, mainly in the male, the elongated shape and the convex snout profile. 11 cm. Possible confusion with a group of brown species living in the same environment: Paramonacanthus japonicus, Pseudomonacanthus peroni, Pseudomonacanthus macrurus. P. curtorhynchus is the only one with convex snout profile.
