Rock cleaner shrimp
Scientific name : Urocaridella sp. 2
Transparent shrimp, densely spotted in white and red. Rostrum longer than antennal scales. Distinct hump. Red and white striped legs. 3 cm.
Among the few Urocaridella species already described is Urocaridella antonbruunii (often uncorrectly called Leandrites cyrtorhynchus), that can be confused but it has a colour pattern more densely spotted in red and white than Urocaridella sp. 1.
Associated organisms It is an appreciated (by fish) cleaner.
