Risbecia tryoni

Scientific name : Risbecia tryoni

Cylindrical body, light brown in colour with black spots with a white fade. Thin blue line on the mantle edge. 10 cm. Common in bay, also on reef front and external reef. Possible confusion with Chromodoris leopardus, especially when (like in the above photo) it has ring shaped spots. Always the body profile is higher in R. tryoni, C. leopardus being more flattened and expanded.
Compared with Chromodoris kuniei, apart the body shape, the purple ring around the spots is missing, and the mantle border is thinner.
