Reticulated hinge-beak shrimp

Scientific name : Cinetorhynchus cf. reticulatus

Highly variable shrimp, with a reticulated colour pattern that can become striped on the back. Legs and rostrum are white with red bands. Claws are long in the males, become larger and flattened in the older males. 6 cm.
Very similar to Cinetorhynchus cf. hendersoni, that is more brown in colour. When the abdomen is striped, it can be confused with Cinetorhynchus striatus (the legs with transverse bands are distinctive).
Due to the great variability, and to the fact that for a correct identification the examionation of very small charachters is necessary, we cannot exclude that in this page other species may appear.
