Redspot cardinalfish

Scientific name : Apogon parvulus


A small (maximum length: 4,0 cm), semi-trasnparent fish, it shows, once adult, a bright red dot at the base of the caudal fin.
It can be seen forming schools around rocky reefs in bays, in current-prone zones.


Habitat: Back reef, Lagoon

Distribution: Western Pacific
