Red hinge-beak shrimp
Scientific name : Cinetorhynchus concolor
Long upward rostrum, red colour with a white band on the 2nd abdominal segment, followed by a white U turned backward from the 2nd to the 4th segment. Males have long pincers. 5 cm. Similar to the other rhynchocinetidae (see Cinetorhynchus cf. hendersoni, Cinetorhynchus striatus, Cinetorhynchus cf. reticulatus) the red colour with only two white markings is distinctive.
