The order Rajiformes only includes rays and mantas; sawfishes belong to the Pristiformes, though they are still part of the Batoidea.
They are beautiful and very fascinating creatures, which use their pectoral fins to move around, not their caudal ones as most fish do, and this gives them a somewhat "celestial" look.
