Purple Anthias
Scientific name : Pseudanthias tuka
Body purple, with a dark spot on the caudal fin. Females with a long yellow stripe on the dorsal region, and yellow tail lobes. Form small aggregations along the external reef. Feed on zooplankton. Females far outnuber males. Easily distinguishable by the dark spot on the basis of dorsal fin. Males differ from Pseudanthias pascalus by having a yellowish snout.
