Princess damsel

Scientific name : Pomacentrus vaiuli


Highly variable background colour, mainly grey-brown, fading into yellow-orange toward the head. Lines of blue dots on all the body. A false eye on the dorsal fin. Very similar to Pomacentrus bankanensis, compared with the latter it has no white tail neither a median blue line along the forehead.


Habitat: Back reef, Reef front, Sand

Distribution: Western Pacific
