Princess Anthias

Scientific name : Pseudanthias smithvanizi


Red body with several small orange spots on the scales. Upper part of the head red, fins borders violet or blue. Females have a blue longitudinal stripe along the dorsal region, prolonging in a blu tail with red lobes. Not easy to distinguish from other species: small orange spot are the main feature.


Habitat: Reef external slope

Distribution: Indo-Pacific
