Philinopsis gardineri

Scientific name : Philinopsis gardineri

Headshield slug with rounded head, black colour, blue margins, 2 rounded tails. 4 cm. Probably a Polychaete worm predator.
Possible confusion with dark specimens of Philinopsis cyanea. It is distinguished by the lower head shield, and by the rounded head.
Possible confusion with Chelidonura varians, that has identical colour pattern, but has long pointed tails, and a blue line in the middle of the head.
