Notodoris minor
Scientific name : Notodoris minor
Hard and leathery body, brilliant yellow with black stripes. A dorsal expansion hides and protects the gills. 9 cm.
Easy to distinguish from the other Notodoris spp. for the colour pattern. In particular, confusion with Notodoris gardineri can be avoided because the latter has larger and more irregularly shaped black areas.
Associated organisms Usually in association with the yellow calcareous sponges Leucetta spp., ist food. We also observed an association with the commensal shrimp Periclimenes imperator
