Scientific name : Nembrotha lineolata


Soft body, white or cream colour with many thin longitudinal brown lines, Variously shaped yellow, red and purple markings around mouth, rhynophores, gills. 5 cm. This is part of a white and brown species group, including also Nembrotha purpureolineolata, Nembrotha rutilans e N. chamberlaini. N.lineolata is identified by the thin brown lines.

Associated organisms
Normally with social or solitary ascidians, its main food, like Rhopalaea spp., Clavelina spp., Oxycorynia fascicularis.


Habitat: Reef

Distribution: Indo-Pacific
