Madagascar butterflyfish

Scientific name : Chaetodon madagascariensis

Small butterflyfish (14 cm), with a chevroned pattern on the side, orange back part, black line crossing the eye, black oval spot on the nape.
Very similar to Chaetodon paucifasciatus from the Red Sea, that is more red. The pattern on the sides is like in Chaetodon mertensii but it has nape spot like Chaetodon xanthurus.
