Long nose file fish

Scientific name : Oxymonacanthus longirostris

Wonderful small file fish, light blue colour with many orange spots, a false eye on the caudal fin. Very long snout, ventral fin red and black. 12 cm. The colour pattern is unforgettable and unique. A similar species, O. halli, with a dark bar on the tail, lives in the Red Sea.

With Acropora hard corals, its only food.
