Jewel damsel

Scientific name : Plectroglyphidodon lacrymatus


Brown - blackish damsel, with white tail and scattered bright blue spots on the dorsal part of head and body. 10 cm. Is a territorial algae feeder. Similar to other brown pomacentrids, the blue spots are distinctive.


Habitat: Back reef, Lagoon

Distribution: Western Pacific
