Indian vagabond butterflyfish

Scientific name : Chaetodon decussatus


Large butterflyfish (20 cm), very similar to Chaetodon vagabundus, only with black dorsal and anal fins. Common in turbid water.


Habitat: Coastal bay, Lagoon, Reef external slope, Reef flat, Sand

Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean
