Immaculated puffer fish

Scientific name : Arothron immaculatus


Uniform grey colour, except a dark area at the pectoral fin basis, a black ring around the eye, and yellow lips. 28 cm. Usually it rests in bottom depressions, often covered with sand. Similar to Arothron manilensis, distinguished by the missing longitudinal stripes.


Habitat: Coastal bay, Lagoon, Mud, Seagrass beds

Distribution: Indo-Pacific
