Scientific name : Hypselodoris sp.


Black lines on a yellow-whitish background, purple borders, orange rhynophores and gills. Sometimes identified as Hypselodoris nigrostriata, an Indian Ocean species whhose colours are more brilliant. 3 cm. It likes sheltered bay environments. Hypselodoris nigrostriata, Indian ocean species, is very similar but the background colour is a brighter yellow, and the black lines are fading into purple. Hypselodoris sp. can have white rhynophore tips.

Associated organisms
With sponges, its food.
