Hypselodoris maculosa

Scientific name : Hypselodoris maculosa


Brown back, darker on the sides, with stains and decoration. Rhinophores with horizontal stripes. Previously known as Chromodoris decorata. 3 cm. Uncommon in our area, photographed in bay.
There could be confusion with other Hypselodoris species, but the striped rhynophores are a good diagnostic.

Associated organisms
With sponges.
