Hypselodoris kanga

Scientific name : Hypselodoris kanga

Very brilliantly coloured Hypselodoris, with alternate yellow and purple-blue spots. White rhynophores with longitudinal orange lines.
This at least is the description of the specimens we observed in our area. The species appears to be highly variable, with a background colour ranging from white to blackish, blue lines or spots, orange or yellow spots. The external part of the gills has always yellow spots. 4 cm.
Uncommon, living in bay.
Confusion possible with H. obscura and with H. infucata. The gills, with yellow spots on the external part, are a good diagnostic character.
