Hearth urchin

Scientific name : Clypeaster reticulatus


Flattened irregular urchin, covered with short, soft spines. The pores of pedicellaria make a flower artwork in the center of the back. 5 cm.
In bay and lagoon, on sandy bottom, usually buried during the day.
Easy to identify from the other irregular urchins due to the flattened shape and the short spines.
