Harlequin crab

Scientific name : Lissocarcinus laevis

Small swimmer crab (the last pair of legs is modified in a fin). Smooth carapace, with a pattern of reddich and white large stains. White, almost transparent legs. White eyes. Carapace lenght 4 cm.
Quite similar to Lissocarcinus orbicularis, but it is larger, reddish in colour and never associated with holoturians.

Always in association with sea anemones: Actinodendron spp., Actinostephanus haeckeli, Cerianthus spp.
