Halgerda batangas

Scientific name : Halgerda batangas

Translucent white colour with a network of orange lines, and prominent orange tipped tubercles. Orange spots around the edge of mantle. Rhinophores and gills are white with black spots. Halgerda batangas belongs to a species complex, many living in a small area. In our area this is the only Halgerda that we have been able to observe. It is often confused with Halgerda malesso, the main difference is that the latter has multiple fine orange lines around the mantle edge instead of orange spots.
