Grey sand prawn

Scientific name : Metapenaeus sp. 2

Elongated shape, large eyes, grey colour with irregularly shaped vertical bands. Rostrum longer than eyes, long and flexible antennae. 8 cm.
Encountered occasionally on sandy bottoms, in bay, at night.
Distinguished from Metapenaeus cf. dalli by the banded colour pattern.
