Flagtail grouper

Scientific name : Cephalopholis urodeta

About 28,0 cm long, this fish shows a rather uniform red color, with a darker, almost black caudal fin.
It lives in shallow, clear waters, in the outer reef, but can be also found in lagoons and other reef zones.
It feeds on crustaceans and small fish.
