Flabellina bilas
Scientific name : Flabellina bilas
Brown-reddish aeolidacea, quite variable. The white-bluish decorations on the back and the cerata with red and white rings are characteristic. 2,5 cm. Similar to other Flabellina species, the red ring on the cerata, surrounded by 2 white rings, is distinctive.
Like in other Flabellina species, the nematocysts of the preys (hydroids) are stored into the cerata (in which blind tracts of the intestines are), and used as defense against predators.
