Doto ussi

Scientific name : Doto ussi


Small cryptic species, with the back completely covered with spherical cerata. Pale green colour, rhynophores with sheath. 2 cm. In the above photo, 2 specimens are shown, with antennae looking in the opposite directions. Many species of Doto exist, associated with different hydroids, mostly undescribed.

Associated organisms
Usually associated with the hydroid Aglaophenia cupressina, on which it feeds and lays its eggs.


Habitat: Reef front
