Grey colour, with a yellow-brown pattern. Two white saddles on the first and fourth abdominal segments. Large black blotch on both sides of the carapace.
4 cm. A. djeddensis belongs to the A. brevirostris species complex, including Alpheus bellulus, Alpheus ochrostriatus, Alpheus randalli, Alpheus rubromaculatus, Alpheus sp. (species included in this website). All species are quite similar, the black blotch is an easy distinctive character.
