Large expanded nudibranch, the brown back is covered with branching tubercles.Typical club-shaped rhinophores.17 cm. Found in shallow, sheltered environments, like bay or lagoon. Nocturnal habits.
Easy to identify, somehow similar to Asteronotus cespitosus.
A repellent secretion from its skin can burn if it is handled without care.
