Decorator crab
Scientific name : Herbstia condyliata
Triangular body, longer than larger and slightly rounded, ending with a rostrum constituted by two short spines. The legs and the chelae are long and thin. The whole body surface is filled with tubercles, and it is usually extremely epibionted. The eyes are typically red, the carapace and the legs are greyish, the internal part of the chelae is pinkish.
It prefers very dark habitats, and it lives in dark caves, usually very far from the entrance. Outside the caves, it may be found in deep holes, from which it goes out only during night time.
