Costasiella cf. kuroshimae

Scientific name : Costasiella cf. kuroshimae

Very small sacoglossa, the back is covered with green, pink tipped, cerata. White and black rhynophores. 0.5 cm.
The colour pattern, especially the pink tipped cerata, are not exactly the same as the original description of Costasiella kuroshimae. This is probably a colour variation. Like other sap-sucking slugs, this genus has acuminate radular teeth, used to pierce algal cells, whose fluids are then sucked.

Associated organisms
With the green algae Udotea sp., probably its food.
