Coral crab

Scientific name : Trapezia lutea

Small crab with smooth, rounded carapace, large claws, orange colour. Eyes very lateral, can be withdrawn in a groove. Carapace lenght 2 cm.

Identified from Tetralia cavimana and other Trapezia species by the colour.

Associated organisms
Associated with branching hard corals, like Acropora, Stylopora, Tubastrea micranthus.
