Collared butterflyfish

Scientific name : Chaetodon collare

Medium size butterflyfish (16 cm), typical peppered grey colour with an obvious white collar and red tail. In pairs or sometimes in large aggregations. Similar to the Pacific species Chaetodon reticulatus, the latter has no red tail neither the obvious collar. Feeds primarily on coral polyps.
